Today was awesome!

Today, I went to the Japanese restaurant next to Civic Video here @ Campsie. It was marvellous! Though the Miso Soup was really weird but I was told that it's only the first, once you keep having it, it'll feel good. So that'll take me some bit of time to get use to the Miso Soup. I had grilled raw fish, and my god, it taste so good! I even tried the chicken bits from my sister's bento box, it was fabulously delicious! I hope to go back there again and have the bento box next time :)

Then I went to the city. Missed the first train though. Me and my sister waited for 25 minutes at Campsie Station, and thought that the next train won't stop at Campsie because it made an announcement that the next train won't stop and it also said in the depart screens. Strangely, some dude was looking weirdly at me whilst I had my video camera in my hand, and I was scared that the guy must be a thug and one of those expensive robber's in the Third Avenue. Oh well.

So here came the train, and we went to get on a carriage that had spaces, and my mate just comes out from tutoring @ Birrong. And when I got on the train, OMG... No room for good seats, and I don't like sitting backwards. So we got on the next carriage and found a few seats, though not a good place with a view because I had my video camera with me and I didn't get to see much. When our train got to Circular Quay, thank God I got some pretty good views of the Sydney Harbour and the shores but the whiteness of the window just blurs the camera a little bit, and our train departs at Circular Quay. We hop off at Town Hall and our first stop was at Kinokuniya.

Kinokuniya to me, is a big as book store in the whole of Sydney. Lots of categorized books to look at (mind you I'm not a book freak but like to look around). The Kinokuniya bookstore is also the place where asians especially Japanese people come around to swarm the place. Where I was, in the section of the manga, right next to me was Japanese books, magazines and other things. I was pretty amazed that the place was swarmed by the Japanese people, as I've hardly seen one here in Sydney. There were many things such as Manga to look at, though I didn't find anything that I could take home today :( That was the unfortunate thing that happened while I was at the bookstore. Until then, my sister called me out and we head outside and into the city streets to head into Kings Comics which was at Pitt Street. The comic bookstore was nicely set and it was perfectly amazing! Heaps of things to look at while I was in there. I head to the manga section, and found some pretty interesting mangas that I once again, didn't end up taking home. There was a manga with a beautiful girl drawn in the front page, and I thought "Hmm. Why not take a look at it?" So I did, and the front page was alright until I got to the middle of the page. "Gee! That is just off!" A sexual reference drawn on the middle of the page with the main girl character's skirt being lifted up and being pashed by the guy. Though I found that manga interesting, but yet I didn't take it home. So we had outside the Kings Comics and went to the place where Apple itself set their Super Store. I arrived there and the place was massive! The place was filled with people that you had to line up to try their products. There was even a few more stories added, and you could see the people that was up there! There was even some kind of a bar that was in the middle of the building. I hoped to go around the whole of it but it was packed, so me and my sister walked off to Dymock's which was down the road.

As you may have heard or obviously thought, yes, I tried looking for Japanese books. Books that I could learn the language from. There was a few interesting books there but I didn't manage to get it. The pricing was sky high :( Though my sister did get one book from there, it was about Finland.

Then we head back out and to the other side where the stationery's out. I just followed my sister around because she's into artsy fartsy stuff. And then we took the litle journey to Abbey's bookstore where me and my sister managed to get softwares where we can learn the language we want to learn. My sister took Finnish and I took Japanese. At least for today, I got to be in the City after haven't being there in such a while. The QVB, I got some real good shots with my video camera and got to step in the middle of where the glass roof is. Pretty high from that position. And as we find our way back to Town Hall station, we got lost by going downstairs to the basement but managed to get out with this little corridor back out. And as we got to Town Hall Station, we bought Sprite and sipped at the station and got on the train to Liverpool, home.
